Text message feature offered for school messages to parents & guardians

To our STAR Catholic Parents & Guardians

St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic School Division is moving to a new communication system used to send parents and guardians phone calls, emails and text messages. You will not notice any changes from the current communication system we use to send important school and Division messaging.

Please be advised that to receive text messages from STAR Catholic and your local school you will have to first Opt-In. An initial text message will be sent to you on Wednesday May 16, 2018 with instructions on how to Opt-In to the text message feature.

If you already currently receive text messages from STAR Catholic and your local school, you will have to Opt-In under the new system to continue receiving text messages.

We encourage you to Opt-In to the text message feature, as it serves as another useful tool in the school and School Division contacting you and keeping you informed in the event of Emergency, Student Attendance and Busing Notifications.
